Honda owners will feel the heartbeat of their cars
Mariana Puzderi/ Chișinău / Moldova.ORG./ -- Future technology called Ambient Alert is a notification system, designed to make the driver feel the heartbeat of his car and, if necessary, time to provide it first aid.
Sam Grosset, a graduate of the Faculty of Design at the University of Dundee, has created a future technology exclusively for Honda. His idea, as all ingenious, is simple.
The wheel of the car, where a mobile phone will be mounted , will vibrate from time to time, alerting the owner about the emerging problem. It is assumed that any vehicle's problem be assigned to a certain degree of complexity, the more serious the problem is, the stronger the steering wheel vibrates.
The existing notification systems provides the driver a minimum of information about the breakdowns, in addition, they are easily ignored by the driver, which can result in costly repairs.
Ambient Alert Technology is constantly reporting on the "health" of the Honda car, raising alarm in case of emergency, as well as displaying information about the "symptoms" on the mobile phone screen.
This information will be directed to the automaker, who has remote access to the phone. After that, the car owner will receive instructions on what to do next.
The system activation the proposed by launching the application in the mobile phone and placing the device in a special hole on the steering wheel.
