In Japan took place the premiere of the new mini wagon Honda
On Wednesday, in Tokyo, the Honda Company presented the new version – compact mini wagon Freed. As Carscoop press informs, the car’s name comes from the word “freedom”.
The novelty is built on the base of the reformed compact car Honda Jazz (Fit). The Freed length remained the same as the hatchback Jazz has, but the wheelbase enlarged from 2500 to 2740 cm. The mini wagon length is 4215 mm, and the height – 1715 mm, about 30 and 19 more than its “donor” is.
In Japan Freed will be offered with the versions of five – seven – or eight places, and also fore and complete driving gear. About its details: Mini wagon will get 120 – potent 4 cylinder benzene engine and the capacity 1,5 liter working in pairs with the input resonator.
Honda Freed’s cost in the Japanese market is about from 15 600 to 22 000 USA dollars. The company hopes to sell about 400 such cars monthly. It is not known if the car will be sold in other markets out of Japan.
