Jeep is going to build three novelties on Fiat platforms

Chișinău / Moldova.ORG/ -- The company Jeep is very seriously planning to use the platform of the Fiat.

According to the development strategy made public, three American brands’ novelties will be created at once, with extensive use of Italian counter parts.
The fact that Jeep is going to revive the full-sized seven-seat SUV Grand Wagoneer was reported recently.

Today, it became known that over the next three years, Jeep is planning to release three new models at once, on platforms of the Italian group - Fiat, which owns more than half the shares of Chrysler.
In particular, at the end of 2013, as sources reported, the most compact Jeep, which is internally known as the B-Jeep, should debut.

It is planned that it will firstly be sold in North and Latin Americas.
About the same time, the Compass and Patriot models will undergo modernization – they will be replaced by a crossover on platform of the Fiat CUSW. Mono-and four-wheel drive versions are expected, and it will be for sale in both the U.S. and Europe.

By the way, the new item will share the platform with a crossover, which the Italians will release under the brand Alfa Romeo, but for the Jeep Liberty the platform will be somehow upgraded.

The extended "truck" is known as CUSW Plus, and, although it allows the use of only one drive axle, the company will offer the future Jeep Liberty in all-wheel drive version only.
