Lamborghini has announced a mysterious new product
Chișinău / Moldova.ORG/ -- The Lamborghini automaker started distributing invitations to its own stand at the Frankfurt Motor Show, which makes clear that the Italians are preparing a kind of premiere.
What novelty they are going to show exactly, is not known, yet, still, there are some versions already.
The most probable candidate for the premier is considered the latest open modification of the supercar Lamborghini Aventador, developed by the company.
According to some reports, it had already received the approval of a number of certification authorities in the U.S. and is almost ready for the start of sales.
As well as the hardtop version, the roadster will be equipped with 700-horsepower 12-cylinder engine, which develops 690 Nm of torque.
The second potential candidate as show-stopper is the serial version of the sensational supercar Sesto Elemento - its conceptual prototype was shown at the last show in Paris.
The concept was almost entirely made of carbon fiber, so it does not exceed the weight tons and is equipped with a 570-horsepower engine from the Gallardo.
It was reported earlier that Lamborghini had decided to release from 10 to 20 copies of the super concept, and the start of sales is scheduled for October this year.
For each Italian supercar they are going to ask about 2 million euros.
There remains a small chance that a third brand model prototype (in addition to the current Gallardo and Aventador) will represent the Lamborghini stand.
The company promised to develop a base Lamborghini, which could be used by customers in their daily activities, since spring.
