Nissan stops producing in USA pickups and SUV
Nissan Company intends soon to stop producing SUV and pickups in the American firm in Canton Mississippi. As Motor Trend informs, instead of that the factory will increase the production of Altima sedan.
The decrease’s account of production of the SUV Nissan Armanda and the pickup Nissan Titan is the low request of that vehicles. Last year in USA the sell of Titan fell by 55,8% to 2163 units and Armanda saw a decline by 52,1 percent to 1212 units. Because of that facts the factory will produce only one Armanda and Titan per day.
The sell of sedan Nissan Altima contrarily grew up to 43,6% (by 34 thousand 428 cars). At the Canton factory the Japanese company intends to implement the third shift, building with 2000 more Altima units per month as they were doing earlier.
It should be remembered that in USA Ford and General Motors declined the production of SUV and pickups.
