Peugeot reduces the production of the model 1007
Peugeot Company plans to reduce the production of the model 1007, made in the French city Poissy, one third - from 77 to 52 cars in a day. About that reports the publication Les Echos.
The account of the production is due to its low requirements of Peugeot 1007. By Les Echos reports, last year the French Company sold only 18600 thousand cars, in comparison with other years when they sold all over the world about 34 thousand cars.
The production of the version 1007, was the first time presented at the auto show in Paris in the fall of 2004, three years ago. Then the plant was building about 550 Peugeot 1007 cars per day. From the very beginning the French producer planned to create 130 thousand Peugeot 1007 per year, after some time the production was reduced to 70 thousand cars yearly.
