Ultra-budget car Renault-Nissan appears in 2011
The serial building of the ultra-budget car, processed by Renault-Nissan, will begin in 2011 in India. By Worldcarfans.com reports, Renault said that this car will cost 2500 USD and will go on sale from the yet to be constructed plant of Renault-Nissan and Bajaj Auto Company.
Now, this cheap car’s project passed successfully the concept stage agreement, but it is under construction yet, that’s why there are no details about it. It is known, Renault and Nissan plan to produce by 400 thousand budget-cars during one year, and to sell them in some developing markets from India.
The most accessible car now is Tata Nano, presented at the beginning of 2008. It is powered by a benzine 624 cm3 engine, 33 capacity and may convey 5 people. Similar plans to build mini cars have the companies: Mitsubishi Motors, Toyota, General Motors, Ford and Volkswagen.
