Tata Nano equipped with airbags of 10$

Tata Motors Company appealed to the company Autoliv, with the requirement to make for Tata Nano airbags at the price of 10$. As The Economic Times writes, the collaboration between the Indian and swiss-american would bring to the cheapest cars the cheapest airbags in the world.

Two front airbags for driver and passengers would be available to the most expensive versions Tata Nano, equipped with air-conditioner and audio system.

As the Indian producers informs, they negotiate with more producers and the plan with Autoliv Company is not the decisive yet.

It should be mentioned that among Tata Nano producers are many well-known companies from Europe.
The car is powered by a 624 cm3 engine and 33hp, equipped with a manual gear shift lever with 4 levels. The highest speed will be 100km/h, the tank able for 30 litres, and takes 4 litres for 100km and this makes Tata to make 750 km with full tank. It is also interesting that Tata keeps the Euro 4 standards and never had problems, said the Company Director.
