The BMW company presented the unique concept roadster, which got the name GINA Light Visionary Model. From the official reports, the car’s interior and body will change totally its design, and due to that, instead of metal will be used at the prototype construction special flexible and wearproof material.

The material is situated on a special grid from metallic rope, leading the drive with an electric-hidraulic mechanism. Due to this rope it is changing also the tissues position getting another shapes. As the BMW representatives say the body may be adjusted in concrete situations and being disposed to each driver’s wish. At the same time the structure of the tissue body and the metallic ropes was made for the passenger’s security in the case of accident.


The production of the analogical version BMW GINA Light Visionary Model is not planned. In the German company were mentioned that the concept-car was done specially to show how could be the future cars and also to use the new technology in practice.
