Volkswagen sales in China up 29 percent
Volkswagen Group announced that its sales in China jumped nearly 29 percent in the first eight months of 2007.

Su Weiming, vice president of Volkswagen Group China, said the German automaker expected to sell 800,000 VWs this year, along with 65,000 Audis.

Su also told the Xinhua news service t hat Volkswagen was planning to soon enter the growing used-car market in China. // Copyright 2007 by United Press International
